    1. Permanent Waterhole. The Severn River dries to a chain of waterholes in dry seasons but this is a, very creatively named, large permanent pool. Click image for larger version

    Hi Alan

Ahhhh- camping ... I remember those days all too well. Both the many fun times and the occasional wet & gloomy times
With spouse & children we soon needed a 4x6 trailer to hold all of our stuff, along with the good ol' shovel and bucket for "other stuff"

Nowadays I'll stick to the motorhome

I've been through the 6x4 trailer and tent camping with kids, but it all fits in the car now and still happy with the tent, even in a bit of rain, for the time being at least.

Although I must admit the forecast of more and heavier rain did send me home.

Beautiful area. Looks like wonderful area to camp in.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Thanks David. Quite a good campsite. Most of the walking tracks on the map are more suggested routes rather than actual made tracks and quite rough going, so not the best hiking area for older hikers like me.

Nice set. I gave up camping several years ago.On my last night in a tent. the temperature was 4'C. Colder than my fridge. So, I spent most of the night in the car.......

Thanks Mark. I've been down to around 1°C a couple of times. It's ok with the right sleeping bag and clothes. Miserable if it's windy and cold though.

Ah camping out. Not done that for many years. Looks a great spot. Lovely photos Alan. Great trees and fabulous reflections in the calm water in #1 and #2.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Thanks Isac, it's good to get out into the bush occasionally - insects, spiders, rain and all. Also good to get back to home comforts at the end.
