  • Sundown National Park tracks

Heavy overcast for the whole time I was there didn't provide good conditions for landscape shots.

    1. Along the track to the campground. The trees caught my eye. Click image for larger version

Beautiful area. Really like the shape of those trees. Nice work Alan.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Thanks David. It has quite a lot of rather scraggly Cypress Pine scrub which is pleasant to walk through but not at all photogenic. Combined with the overcast made it difficult for decent landscapes.

Nice. Is there much wild life there?

Thanks Mark. The official list has 29 species of mammals excluding introduced species, but most are nocturnal so you don't normally see them. Plenty of birds although I didn't see many and managed to photograph few of those I saw. The kangaroos and wallabies are common and easily seen early morning and late afternoon, and most aren't bothered by people provided you don't approach too close.

Wonderful shots showing the natural landscape and those trees are fabulous - most of them not seen anywhere else on the planet.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Thanks Isac. Lots of attractive trees close to the river but difficult to photograph well as it's hard to isolate a subject - you can't see the trees for the forest.

    G'day Alan

Most taken with #2 with its winding pathway meandering thru the trees.
And 'yes' the weather was a bit sad for bright Aussie colours to come through
