Nice shots. Looks like a lovely area to walk. Could potentially look really nice in the autumn.

Wonderful photos Mark. A lovely walking spot. Much larger area than my little suburban lake, which is bone dry at present.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

I vote for #2 even though it is a bit out of kilter. It allows you to make a better story having some additional interest by having some walkers on the path. The naked trees remind me of too much freshness.

I like the reflections, colour and leading lines in #1, but #2 has more interest with the figures and building. A bit of a boost in colour or contrast might improve it a bit more.
