    Beautiful shots. That light is gorgeous.

      Yep 1, 3 and 5 in the hour before sunset or after sunrise. 2 and 4 before sunrise. My favourite times for photographs. Colour can get a bit much at times.

    What they said. great colours and nicely composed. Must have had a bit of rough weather to get such a step in the beach. May get quite deep quickly there as well. Don't suppose you went for a swim

      Early morning is my favourite time for photography.

      I'm very cautious in the ocean these days. I grew up in central Qld where beaches are usually quite safe, protected by offshore reefs and islands. The combination of lack of experience in big swells and increasing age makes me very risk averse.

      I remember my feet touching the back of my head 70 years ago. I came out of that surf a different person :lol

      I remember being dumped a few times but never that badly. I can image it would have an effect.
