This is near Rainbow Beach, Queensland. It was seen and named by Cook in 1770. It's a huge sand dune that is slowly covering the forest.

    1. This covers almost the full width and is taken from near the top of the cliff above the beach looking inland. There are some figures included for scale but they may be hard to see.

Beautiful area. Really like number 3.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Thanks. It's an unusual feature and hard to know where to point the camera, but I like those with the sea in the background.

Gosh, a lot to capture in one go. Amazing scenery, and tough walk I imagine. Not a place for a camera when the wind blows....

Yes, soft, dry sand is hard going. Very little wind at the time, thankfully.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.
