Not the time for rice fields. Must have mostly been harvested and new lot being planted. The food and warmth tops however.

Lovely sea, I have never been, and unlikely too now. It looks pretty quiet there too...

#1 shows the bay where the cruise ships pull up. Maybe treat yourself to a long cruise Mark.

On previous occasions I have been on a more attractive part of the beach for sunrise pictures and on other parts of the island for sunset ones. Sleeping in this time. Though planning dinner on the beach on the last day which should have a sunset.

It is but becoming very busy with both tourists and people coming from other islands as it is a friendly tropical paradise. Some areas are being taken over by the Muslim Javanese and lose their character. The same of course with the tourist centres.
