  • Along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail

Isn't anyone else taking any photos lately? I've seen a couple from Hans but not much else.

Here are a couple from my walk from a couple of weeks ago. A lot of grass and trees.

Wonderful Aussie colours Alan. It's a vast land we live in and your photos really show it well. #2 has nice appeal. It shows the horse has plenty of feed and all to itself.

Nice shots. Really like that third one with the horse.

The whole trail is 161 km

I walked three sections 46 km in total with a walking group.

      Toogoolawah to Esk 19 km
      Harlin to Toogoolawah 14 km
      Moore to Harlin 13 km.

It's not the most interesting country being mostly cleared farmland with a few cattle, but easy walking. Some forest sections in the north.

#2 I like the composition you created using the fence as a frame. it add to the image of the horse. I wonder if they care about being on their own? I suppuse the cover would be for bites as it wouldn't get cold enough up there to worry a horse.

Thanks Hans. I've no idea what temperature would worry a horse but it got down to around -1C while we were there. I suspect the owner's comfort level determines the need for a coat for the horse

I suppose so. Down South the horses seem to be quite at ease standing in snow.
