  • Noosa River at Harry's Hut

I camped a couple of nights at Harry's Campground beside the Noosa River in The Cooloola Recreation Area just north of Brisbane. This is a very popular area for kayaks and canoes.

Vantage points for photos are very limited.

    1. Yes the ISO is way too high - I forgot to turn off auto ISO

That light and those reflections and colors are really nice. Beautiful shots.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Beautiful colours in all Alan. I probably sound a bit boring, but I do love to see what's in those shadows. Do you mind if I show you an edit?

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Thanks Isac. Please go ahead and share your edit. I have brightened the shadows a little and find further brightening looked wrong, but I admit I was a bit quick and dirty in my approach. Reducing image size also seems to hide shadow detail.

It's mainly just me but I find it difficult to view images when shadows are too dark, it's only my own personal thoughts.

Thanks Isac, you have certainly brought out more detail, but I think I prefer my version as I think it better matches the mood of the original scene, particularly in the first.

    G'day fellas

Alan - a handy set of images of what appears to be a nice location
Isac - yes, as often is the case, your shadows-lift makes things easier to see+ enjoy

Cheers Phil, I just like to see stuff in the shadows as my eyes see it and we are all getting on which doesn't help either
