  • Beautiful Trees.

    These are Leilaie Gums, which are endemic to my neighbourhood and surrounds. They're not seen anywhere else on the planet.

    Beautiful trees. Like the pale bark on those gums.

    I must be a secret admirer of Aussie gums I can spot them a mile off in all sorts of places all over the world. Not only photogenic. Good firewood as well

      No some are much loved. I recall in portugal they were amazed with how well they burned in their worst fires ever some years ago. In South Africa i saw them beautifull and straight many acres closely planted and hoped that they didn't get a fire. Other places they were planted as shade trees for stage stops where they didn't get a lot of rain.
