  • To the old quarry for a late afternoon swim

After a 36 degree day we went for a late afternoon walk to a disused quarry for a swim. It's a 30-40 minute walk from our house.

Our Korean visitors left single digit (or lower) temperatures and snow in a huge city for this.

Great family keeper shots Alan. Treasured memories. They make living worthwhile. Huge difference in weather for the visitors. Do they have a preference?

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

They enjoy the sun, warmth, beach, and outdoors, but like most of us, they also like to get home after their break. Also it had been uncomfortably hot all this week.

It's always good to get back to normal at home after time away. So far we've had 30's so lovely right now.

Lovely set of the lads jumping into the water. I was expecting to see the splash...

Good "splash shots" Alan, finished off the story well. It was the perfect situation to try some Sequence Photography like this.
