Colors at Blackbird State Forest

Went out yesterday afternoon to try to get some of the fall colors at Blackbird State Forest. I did most of my shooting with my Canon A-1 film camera loaded up with Kodak Ektar 100 for some really punchy colors that now needs to be sent off to the lab. I also took along my X-T5 and my 35mm lens to get some digital shots to share as well.

All fabulous shots David - the colours are wonderful. I love the sun burst through the trees in #6, has 18 rays so your lens has 9 blades.
#2 is a tad dark for me. I had a play with luminosity masks in PS and it lifted it well.
It'll be great to see the comparison between the digital and film shots.

Excellent shots David, with great colour. I agree with Isac about #2; the shadow in the lower portion of the image lets it down.

your #1 + #3 are 'goodies' for my eyes ... the colours and the winding track in #3 bring it all to life

Nice colours.
Richie at Fuji X Weekly has a couple of Ektar 100 recipes if you do want to try one in the X-T5. Unlike film if you don't like the look you can always reprocess the photos another way and also simply delete the sim from the camera without having to use up the whole roll.

These were done using the "Autumn Eterna" recipe from Film.Recipes. I do have Richie's new Gold 200 recipe loaded that I still need to try out.
