  • Moored and resting

    G'day all

Moored safely and sitting quietly, this yacht's owner/crew are probably waiting for more windy+ fine weather before heading out to sea again.

The mono works well. Nice shot Phil.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

In camera does an OK job Phil. A couple of points for some CC. I'd prefer a vertical shot to include the whole mast and it's a tad dark for my eyes.

I agree with Isac that it looks a little dark. Nice composition. Is it a film simulation as it seems to have more grain/noise than I would expect for a straight B&W conversion.

          Hi Alan + Isac
The Panny camera offers me 3- mono options for in-camera JPG and this is the most severe effect
I can certainly play again with both verticals and less severe mono treatment

I don't mind the grain, just curious as to where it came from.

It'll be good to see what else you come up with Phil. I have a similar shot taken in Fremantle but never considered a BW conversion. I will give it a go.
