  • By the light of a silvery moon

    G'day all

Had a full moon while out camping, so decided to take the tripod for a walk late at night as the mist was also coming along the creek

    As always, feedback welcome

Interesting results Phil and I like the effect of the mist. Both look a bit dark to me although the brighter foreground helps in #2. It's probably difficult to find the right level here as if you make it too bright you lose the moonlight effect.

Nice look to these Phil and you got the glow from the moon pretty right, although a smidgeon brighter may lose the effect you were after.

Nice shots. Not easy exposures to balance and you did well.

          Thanks fellas
.... and 'yes' - exposure was an issue, too much and it lost its night-time effect, too little and it was just 'not there' at all
