  • Outback roads and cattle station entry-ways

    G'day all

Outback Queensland gives many opportunities for travellers to explore out-of-the-way places

A typical road junction and sign for cattle stations along the way. This being the Valley of Lagoons road near Hughenden, Queensland
At the bottom of the road sign is 'Mount Fox Road', another back road we traversed several yrs ago on similar outback travels

One farm entry with the homestead just visible on the horizon

    As always, feedback welcome

It's always good to know how far away your are at any given point Phil.
The roads seem to go on and on and on Phil. I had a friend who called his wife Nullarbor, because she did the same thing
Just a tip, use some Dodging on the sign in #1 and the mailbox in #2 - really gives it a lift.

Nice shots Phil. The trees framing the road in #2 work well.
