Nice little bit of nature. The stream kinda gets lost in all of the rocks and foliage.Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

A bit dark for me Phil but that's just my own view because I know you love your shadows. The histogram is all on the left with some blown out foliage on the right. With a WB adjustment (to the warmer side), dropping highlights and lifting shadows it has some wonderful colours hidden away in the foreground and shows a lot more detail without taking away the ambience of the shot (which seems to be what you had in mind).
I have the type sort of shot available at the lake when walking over a bridge but it's really difficult to get a shot of what I actually see, simply because of the sensor's dynamic range being a lot less than my eyes. Perhaps I might try a few merged bracketed shots and see how I go.I Shoot A Canon

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Looks like a beautiful spot Phil, but it demonstrates the difficulty of photographing in the forest in sunny conditions - blown highlights and dark shadows. Much easier and better results on overcast or foggy days. Brightening shadows on the rocks (but not too much) up the centre would probably help but may take more time than you like to spend on pp.
