  • I can see for miles and miles

And many kilometers away I can see the Liverpool plains. I think those hills in the background in #1 are 50 km away.

Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

    G'day Hans

We're both lovers of the Aussie landscape
If #2 were mine it would very quickly become a 30~36" pano on the lounge room wall

Good idea Phil, but my immediate reaction was the same as Isac's.

The beauty of 'photography / photographic art' is that it is subjective .... we all have our likes and turn-ons
I chose to not-include the bright bit of sky to visually enhance the rolling hills starting close and fading to the horizon "coz that's my style of landscape".
From our collective responses I now think Hans has plenty to play with and as it's his image, he gets the final say

I think part of the pleasure of photography is "seeing" the picture in the first place and then discovering things you didn't see in the first place during post processing. Hope that makes sense.

    Beautiful scenery and excellent shots.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

The interesting weather makes for a more interesting shot Hans. Very nice. Phil's crop idea would work well if you include the band of light.

It's a conspiracy phil. One interesting thing is that it looks like rain but it is realy the sun breaking through the haze.
