  • Chelsea Garden

    The new Chelsea Australian garden at the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Gardens. It celebrates the success that the local Flemings Nursery has had over a number of years at the Chelsea Flower show in the UK.

        It's a case of 'wow---what a setup' .... and it certainly looks an impressive sight
        Surely a place where one could easily spend days putting together some delightful images

          You would have to like macro or at least close up flower shots to spend days in that particular part. The whole Chelsea garden section is less than an acre in size but the wider former Rhododren Garden that includes it is very large and offers plenty of photographic opportunities. It's coming up to the right time of year there with the daffodils, cherry blossom, rhododendrons and azaleas all getting ready to flower. I have also photographed Lyrebirds and wallabies in there on several occasions.
