Very interesting landsacpes Hans, and more. Why did you miss Petra - it sounds like a fascinating place.

It's a sad story. I believe we caught the Nora virus in Egypt whch resulted in giving Sylvia pneumonia. She was rushed to hospital in an ambulance at 3 am and was in ICU for two days. It was sad that we missed it as it was the main reason for going to Jordan. Then again , there are probably enough pictures of it.

That virus ca be nasty. Sad that you missed Petra but good that you are ok. A photo is not the same as being there.

True, and it was a good trip apart from that. Best Roman remains we have seen outside Rome. Some in the centre of Amman
