  • Woodlands in B&W.

Some black and white landscapes at Killens Pond State Park, Delaware in between rain storms this weekend. Kept the kit extra light on this outing taking only the camera and my 35mm f/2 lens.

Wonderful series David. I like the contrasts in #1 and #2. A bit brighter maybe would lift them.
Nice textures on those trees in #3.
I think #4 & #5 gave you an opportunity to make those leaves really pop by brightening those leaves and darkening the BG. I don't know your conversion method so I'm not sure how to help with that. Cheers. I love the results of your "Light" kit. Well done.

I'll need to see about brightening it up a bit. Thanks.

Excellent series David. It's difficult to create a centre of interest in forest shots but you have succeeded here.

Perhaps a little more contrast in #2 - darker blacks and brighter whites - would improve it a little.

I agree with Isac that a bit more contrast would lift 4 and 5.

I need to see about touching those up a bit more. Thanks.

A good series and being in B & W adds that little bit of drama

The Fuji 35 f2 is a great lens, a bargain for it’s price.
