Magnificent Eucalypts

Eagleby Wetlands has a number of magnificent Eucalypt trees in an open grassed area between the carpark and the first lake. I finally got around to trying to photograph them. It is difficult to do them justice in a photo.

3. This one has formed a closed loop where branches have fused back together. This is on the tree in the distance at far right in photo #2.

Nice healthy Gums that would attract a lot of Birds.

Yes, there are a number of hollows used for nesting by cockatoos, corellas and lorikeets.

I like #3 there is no question of what you are taking a picture of. While in #1 & #2 The tree is the center of interest it gets deminished a bit with the business of the image and has competition for attention. My 2c

Thanks Hans, I was trying to show the number of trees but the wide angle shrinks all except the foreground tree. I should try with a longer focal length.
