  • Last light

    Pushing it a bit. Not quite sure how to deal with the results. It was practically dark.

    at 300mm seams to have a painted quality about it.

    Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

      Not quite but from the veranda of the eclipse. It is near Nadi Fiji.

    Nice light and colors. The only way to improve it would probably be to use a tripod (not sure if you did here or not) or push the ISO for a higher shutter speed. Some noise reduction software, like Topaz DeNoise, might be able to clean it up.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

      It was hand held but at a hefty speed A tripod was available but would not have been of any use on the ship which would move more than i would.
      I am quite pleasedwith it even though it is a long way off.

    Beautiful light on the cliffs Hans. Looks like it has potential although I don’t know how much processing you have done on it. I agree about the painted feel. It would be easy to overdo the contrast and lose the painting impression,
