  • Tygum Lagoon

Nine shot panorama of the location of my bird photos from this morning. A concrete path surrounds the lake. The park is not much larger than the lake.

The flat area fringing the water is made up of aquatic plants.

Lovely landscape image Alan. Beaut colours. I might try this after my Covid episode. No guarantees. I've really lost my mojo lately.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

I don't get out with others but just on one occasion, visited a friend on my morning walk and she called to say she was positive. Next thing I tested positive too. It doesn't take much, the closest we were would have been a couple of metres on her front porch. I'm almost over it and it was very mild - I got onto the anti-viral tabs by day 2 and they worked magic. I have put the camera away for awhile because of the "too many bird photos" comments, which not only took me by surprise but has troubled me somewhat. It's an issue for me because I don't get out much to take landscape photos. No more birds for a while. I'm busy doing editing and graphics stuff so that's a good thing as well as getting gigs with my band, which dried up during the pandemic. Thanks for your well wishes mate.

I don't think it's reasonable to stop posting bird photos, but I do think it's a good idea to limit yourself to one or two new topics per day. Unless I get away somewhere for a few days I find it difficult to come up with decent landscapes. There are always flowers and insects to fall back on, I suppose.

I have been disappointed to see several comments over the last few weeks that seem, rightly or wrongly, to have been taken personally. It is so easy to just choose phrasing that, in the absence of tone of voice and body language, unintentionally causes offense.

Hoping to see some new photos from you before too long.

Excellent pano Wigz, wow 9 shots. What software do you use to stitch? I use either/or Lighroom, or the Microsoft Image Composite Editor.

Thanks but it's not Isac's. This was done with Lightroom although I usually use Photoshop.
