  • Colors at Trap Pond

Revisited Trap Pond now that the Cypress trees are a lot more colorful. Nice still morning combined with some lingering morning mist made for a nice outing.

I like the first couple, but after that the haze reduces the colour impact David. Unsure how I would improve the hazy one though...

The first two had sidelight whereas the last four were backlit. I added a bit of dehaze and additional contrast during post but I didn't want to completely remove the haze as I kinda liked it and too much dehaze will start to look weird.

#1, #2 and #4 for me David. Beautiful part of the world and those colours are brilliant - much better seeing them though, I would imagine.

This looks pretty good. I do find myself preferring the colors a bit more muted, seems to fit the mood a bit more. Maybe somewhere between your version and the original.

More beautiful colour David. I like #2, #5 and #6.

I always find it difficult to choose how to treat misty shots. If you boost the contrast for better colour you lose the mood, leave it and it looks a bit washed out.

That's always the struggle on days like that.
