Impressive series David. Autumn colour is something we don’t see where I am.

Definitely one of my most favorite times of the years for some woodland photography. We haven't even hit peak colors yet. We should be at peak colors at the end of the month.

    G'day David

As Alan says - an impressive series
I find #3 to be very dramatic with its perspective towards the overhead trees,
while #6 with its star-burst just makes it all come together nicely

I love using the 10-22mm on in the woodlands for shots like that. Especially when there are a bunch of straight and tall trees like those Loblolly Pines. I'm also glad how well that star-burst turned out, managed it without introducing lens flare.

Great fall colors there. Very nicely done.

You guys don't get much fall color in California do you? At least outside of places like the Sierra Nevada.

Not much in the Bay Area, in fact none at my location. You may be right, Sierra could be different. I haven't been there in the fall.

Stunning colours David. #3, #4 and #6 for me. I'm a lover of starbursts when they are produced well and this is one of those times. Well done.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.
