Well some of them anyway. Sunday and sunny, the place was packed with tourists and their selfie sticks. I will return at another time midweek and try for some better images.

A nice image John, but with such a common subject you need something special to make it stand out.

I agree totally Alan, the way the viewing area is structured there aren't many opportunities for that "special" image. Drones are banned in the area making it even harder to to get that unique shot.

Beautiful scenery. I like this kind of scenery as over here our beach is totally different, so it is nice to see how other places look like.

Agree with all the above as well. But about 1-km eastwards from your site above is (memory) Gibson's Steps, where you can actually climb down to the water's edge

I went to the steps first and the car park was absolutely chokka. I will be doing a midweek visit to the area in the not too distant future in the hope that there will be fewer people around with their selfie sticks, or should that be selfish sticks.

Looks like a stunning location! Might be worth returning a bit later in the day for your next visit to get some lower light.

Later in the day I would be shooting into the sun, I think sunrise would be the go. Planning a 5 day stay in the area next month, so I will have plenty of time to sort things out.
