    G'day all

    Well it sounds interesting doesn't it ... in reality it's the central plug remnants of a volcano, millions of years ago

    Good subject and great POV to show some scale - which you know I like. It helps me get a feel for the place. Lovely framing and colours.

      Thanks mate ... it was one of dozens in the area, and one of perhaps 200+ over a 500km range of country
      Many were larger, some were so eroded that all that was left was a lump with sloping sides and plenty of trees and bushes along the flanks

    Wow, what a formation! Looks great, but might have been good to capture the full height of the tree on the left.
