    All us Victorians will know this one. Built specifically for the movie 'The man from snowy river and 'Burnt down in the 2006 bushfires and rebuilt. good drive for a day out.

      Looks like a cracking spot to spend a night or two. Nice composition, and contrast between warm tones in the foreground and a moody sky.

        Great shot of a great location Taboo. Your treatment and framing is perfect. You forgot to mention that drive would have to be in a "fourby" to really appreciate the area.

          A 4X4 or any competent AWD will do it. My 2016 Subaru Forester did it easily in late December 2018.

          Regarding the treatment and the framing, very well done. I have been to Craig's Hut on quite a few occasions, but have never achieved photos anywhere near as good as this.

          Yep - one of Oz's iconic locations and images ... and you have exceeded yourself with this one
          I would strongly suggest a 20 x 30 poster print for the lounge room wall now

                Thanks Grumpy. As Grifflg said, an AWD will get up to the hut in good weather. If you were keen you could walk from the circuit road as its only about 1.5 k's.
