  • Termite mounds at sunrise

    G'day all

On our current travels between Mt Isa and Normanton, I have been looking fwd to revisiting these termite mounds at sunrise. Twas not to be- with the morning light held back by heavy cloud. So here's a qwik look at what I had aimed to do better with ~ from my 2007 visit up here

Getting up in the semi-dark, and as the sun breaks the horizon, the camera is put to work, with all photography finished 15-minutes after the sun broke the horizon, and back to the motorhome for a cuppa and brekky

    As always, feedback welcome

Colours are magic Phil. Great POV in these. Too early for me.

Spectacular colour Phil. That's a great time of day to be out with a camera.

2 and 3 are what would make top wall hangers. These are great shots and I say well done on getting up that early to catch the light on these.
But as I see it these were well worth it and very well done on all shots you have posted.

Thanks fellas .... one of the great advantages of the motorhome is that I can park close to the target and easily get up next morning
