  • Eastern Macdonnell Ranges of Central Australia (2)

    G'day all

Trephina Gorge in the eastern Macdonnell Ranges of central Oz are one of the many facinating places for visitors to explore. Towering cliffs clearly showing their sedimentary origins extend for some distance; walkers can enjoy the scenery along the way

    As always, feedback welcome

I would love to do a slow walk which is fast for me around this area.
I think these shot make it look so inviting just to do that walk about the area and take it all in.
Wonderful job on these to get this sort of emotions to come out just by looking at a photo.

      Thanks Mate
The ridge top walk is signed as a 90-minute walk.... add an hour for me, and the base walk thru the gorge took me about 60 minutes

I truly would love to give this walk a full go, as I can get pig headed and just force myself to make it up those last few meters. And then worry about getting back.

Like Alan said, those colours are really great. Lovely blue sky and rich contrasts in those foreground cliffs. Well framed and well presented.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.
