  • Barney View at Sunrise

I was reviewing some old files and found this one that I reprocessed, cropping to a wider aspect. Taken in 2017 just as the sun was rising with Mt Barney in the background. This is about an hour and a half drive from home. I'm thinking of going back and trying for some more shots but I'm a bit put off by the cold mornings and price of petrol.

Edited to add: This image was resized by the forum software and looks just slightly duller than the version I prepared.

Well done Alan. Beautiful colours and a great wide shot with FG and BG well focused.
I think the fuel companies are just cashing in like the greedy bastards they have always been. The rich get richer! and I do love the rich colours in your scene.
The forum software leaves a lot to be desired with its algorithms that they choose to use that destroys images. Out of our hands though.

Thanks Hans. I didn’t even think about removing the post, but it will be easily done.

Hans I have some bad news for you. Australia is no longer owned by Australia. Our weak governments with lack of foresight and lack of intelligence have sold most of it off to overseas investors and minority groups are having too much influence in the decision making.

Currently we're driving the Stuart Hwy from Pt Augusta to The Alice

Have a safe journey mate. It's good to see greed is alive and well in Oz. I see they are swapping lettuce for cabbage in burgers already. Oh dear, where are we headed?

You had me with the old house and the rest is a bonus as I see it.
If you never said a word about the resize I know I would not of had an idea about it but, I look at what I see and don't care what others have got to say.
So if I like it I will say that and I do like this as it is and I don't care about the other stuff one little bit at all.

Thanks Ralph. The difference from the resizing is quite subtle, and not noticeable without seeing the original.
Working...
