What method would you propose? There is no detail there. I did another with luminosity masks and got a bit more colour in the foreground which looked ok also softened the blown out bit with some of the pale yellow but that didn't do anything for me.
Hi Hans, I would add a radial gradient starting at the sun spot in the cloud, to the left in a straight line using colours from the image:
Yellow/Orange: b0863b (fg) and Light yellow: ebdb96
Use Blend-If (Underlying Layer) black slider (split) 175 / 235
Add a layer mask to the gradient layer and soft black brush where the sun would be coming through the clouds.
As an extra, Burn the clouds and the strip of trees to give a more silhouette look.

Cheers Hans. I did that edit to show what can be done to fix blown parts of an image. Even if there's no detail, which is very likely in a cloudless sky - just adding some colour gradient can completely change the look.
