    Interesting shots Isac. I have the opposite problem - lots of water but not many water birds. What types of birds are there? I can see an Ibis but the others are too small.

      Cheers Alan. Pacific Blacks, Cootes, Wood ducks Ibis even a White Faced Heron popped in for a visit this morning.

    Ah mate ... they've all gotta feed somewhere -- and maccas ain't an option !
    Of the 2 images, I prefer #2 .... dunno why, and your 'specs' are what I get all too often as well
    Sometimes I'd like one of those Nikons with the 3000mm equiv lens

      Thanks Phil. The water seems to be rising slowly without rain so that's a good thing. With the P1000, I'd be trying before buying, so many negative reviews.
