Seeing that picture of the dried lake gave me a thought of a time lapse movie where you bolt the camera into a bracket so that it is located with some precision and take a picture every day as you do your rounds.
Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

Thanks for the thought Hans, though a bit hard to do the bracket thing with a pano shot.

Use your 16-35 lens instead. The bracket is only to fix the camera to locate it. It would be interesting to see it fill up and dry out. You could even record rainfall and temperature. Much more fun than a refugee locked up in jail.

Something to think about. I only have a 10-18 and 17-50 wide lenses, no 16-35.

Beautiful clouds in #1 Isac. The others are nice shots but don't have the impact of the first. The lake is looking like a playing field in #4 at this distance.

It looks like we are about to get a lot more rain although it could be that BOM are just being ultra-cautious after the last lot caught them a bit by surprise.

Thanks mate, sometimes the clouds offer up some great subject matter for photos. I hope the rain coming your way is gentle.
