  • A plethora of pilings

Another long exposure taken at the end of Princes Pier on Port Melbourne. I had to fight the people fishing at the end of the pier for a possy. Will return at a later date, hopefully to get a better vantage point.

Looks good John. The reflections in the water look interesting.

      G'day GJ

A most interesting shot - I knew that years ago they had demolished the wharf buildings - but to see the pilings still there is quite interesting
The deterioration from the weather is starting to show up ... so any ideas if/when they will remove the stumps?

You're correct about the buildings being demolished Phil, they were destroyed by fires caused by squatters in the late '90's. The pier has been fully restored now so I doubt that the pylons are going to be removed.
    Working...
