Yes there is a rockpool under there.
Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

I'm afraid my style is not conduciveI to that kind of swimming Hans. I tend to enjoy swimming in my own pool these days, where the snacks and beverages are within arms reach and there are no rocks or white pointers to distract my relaxation process. Lovely photo and really good wave action which would look good on the wall.

I am a pussycat myself. The cover has been off the pool once this summer when we had guests. Sun was out again today more pics to follow.

I must say our pool has had a good workout this season with our extreme heat waves. My 2 daughters and son all live close by and with the grandies as well it's a great family fun time.

I know it looks better but it was dark and miserable and raining and I had it brighter to start with ....

Back home and will be busy for a while sorting this lot. This was another angle of the rock pool.

Had a rather rugged look about it like a training ground for masochists.

Looks like a great place to sit and have lunch mate! NOT. It looks really miserable and you've captured that feeling - so well done.

It was miserable while we were there but the morning we left was great with a nice sunup.

Typical isn't it? That reminds me of people who visit Queensland to go surfing and they often ask the local surfers: "geez, it's a bit flat on the water today, where's the surf?" ... and the reply is always the same "Crikey! you should have been here yesterday!!"

That was sunup. You can see the boats heading out with tourists to Montegue Island. They had been tied up in port all week. The golfers were out wchich I hadn't seen all week. Whimps!

What a beautiful scene Hans.Nice and wide with good framing and superb colours. Just a hint, this is a perfect scene to use a 3 shot bracketing exposure. 0 for mid tones, +2 for shadows and -2 for highlights. Then use HDR system to blend them. It will proiduce an image which shows a much better look as our eyes would have seen it.

Haha You have not allowed for vintage brains. I do these wonderful things but forget. I did have buttons set to do certain things but the only one I remember is the delete button centralises the focus. Was going to set manual mode the other day and gave up after stuffing about for a few minutes. Couldnt get the ISO of auto at the time. Noteasy getting old. just as well it doesnt bother me too much. I will see if I have set c3 to something. Thanks Isac.

Good for you! I'd still set it at C3 (for CONTINOUS + 3 SHOTS). Funny how brains work.
