    In magnificent colour as well.
    Better a full bottle in front of me

    G'day Hans

    Yep - seen stuff like yours over the years and they are all different in what they follow-up and deliver to the ground

    ps- had a small fiddle with it too ~ hope it's okay
    * dropped it to a pano format ~ about 7:2 shape
    * selected the lower portion
    -- dropped RHS Levels to 200 units
    -- increased Saturation by 20%

    Thoughts??

      It changed the mood a little and shows more detail in the foreground. I do like the drama of the sky in the original. I'm no art critic though!

    Looks very dark and gloomy Hans. Great capture.

      Excellent shot Hans. Very dramatic with the trees silhouetted against the wild sky. I think Phil's changes to the foreground are an improvement, but I prefer the original crop.

        Thanks Alan. The image displayed had been given a lift in the foreground. Always a bit of difficulty choosing how much you don't want it that bright that it becomes at odds with the drama in the sky. But Phil's lift did improve the overall result.
