There seems to be cotton grown all over the place. Have not seen it here before though they have probably grown it for years. Not far from Caroona Liverpool plains.

Gee Hans - you almost got me there !
As I scrolled down the image all I saw was the yellow from the canola crop and was about to shout back to you - until I got to the white fluffy stuff closer to home
I like the layout of the image, although on my screen, the sharpness seems a bit off
Vast swathes of the Liverpool Plains are used for this type of agriculture - and the coal mining industry wants what's underground - and I don't know where it will end up

Overall image is soft it was mainly the colours I was after settings reflected HH shot with iso 100 F8 @105mm 1/640 I would say a smaller aperture may have been warranted.
Pretty good in the cotton layer at 100%

I was very tempted to get a drone. When I started reading the Gvt rules I was turned off. Particularly that you can't fly them in NPs In case you damage their helicopter.?
? I may get over it all and say bugger it I will take my chances but I am generally a law abiding citizen.

I have made inquiries with NT govt re flying a drone in NP's there and it is very easy to get a permit, and it's free. I'm sure the other states/territories are much the same.
