After you set the baracketing in any of the modes Av, Tv, Manual, you then set it to C1. THEN you have to go back to the mode you set it up in and then turn OFF the bracketing. That way it's always set ONLY in C1 and not in the normal Av, Tv or Manual modes.
That worked just wound down the + and _ . Wonder what will happen now There is more to it than reading the manual. It is the same for other body type 3s. 6D 7DII 5D most of them 80D and some more.
image #4 is far better insofar as the sun goes ..... the earlier images with total sun bleached out don't look as good as this one where the sun is now a coloured halo thru the tree
However - #1 & #2 are successful when you remove / crop the top / the bleached sun-spot from the image and leave the other 98% there for us viewers
Isac ...... I've just read the text in the link and think that most of it is "contentious waffle"
Okay - the bloke is simply pre-setting some basic camera settings then fine tuning shutter-speed & focus before mounting camera to tripod and pressing the button. Big Deal
Surely we / someone / using Aperture mode pre-set to F11 and ISO-100 (in his case) could do the task just as quickly ??
And as to AEB Bracketing ... just about all my cameras for the last decade have had AEB easily available vis a single Fn button - so why the need for special Custom settings 'just' to get bracketing?? Is the author telling us that ALL current dSLRs do not have a simple button to activate AEB?? ..... sounds a bit strange to me
The EOS RF system and Electronic viewfinder also changed things a little in as much that I have programmed the lens ring to overide aperature and increase or decrease exposure whilst looking at the result in the view finder. This makes bracketing less important. I suppose they make all these buttons programmable to differentiate the camera more from the phone. Makes one more of an expert.
Hi Phil. You don't have to use the custom functions for bracketing, it is available as a setting on the Canon from the quick menu, but using custom settings is much quicker to get to. For my BIF shots I just rotate the dial to C3 and I'm ready to shoot - it is set to Tv mode 1/2000th.second, Auto ISO, single point and surround focus and AI Servo mode at 10FPS. Our Canons don't have a button to automatically set up for bracketing like yours do, it's done via the quick menu, so we need to preset a few things first. The link for Hans was really just to see if he could use any of the tips. This is how AEB is set for my 7Dii which is a long winded process, so having a custom function button set up is way easier and so much quicker. https://www.canon.co.uk/support/cons...tcm:14-1201901
And I didn't see it anywhere that you have to go and turn off the bracketing in the mode you started with after recording it as a programmed function in Cx
Better a full bottle in front of me
than a full frontal lobotomy.
