Excellent light and composition John, and wonderfully clear air. Was this using a polarising filter?

Thanks for the kind words Alan. This was taken back in April 2016 with a Canon 7D and Siggy 17-70, I can barely remember what I did yesterday let alone 5 years ago. . I did have a CP filter for that lens at the time so it is quite possible that I used it for this shot. It's a shame that the EXIF data does not disclose whether on or not filters were used.

Not through the windscreen. Overcast morning. The tree has not grown a lot in five years. Canon R, f8 1/250 iso 100 @24mm

Lovely photo Hans - just a bit of haze removal perhaps? and a bit of contrast.

There were cars everywhere so there would have been a reasonable amount of dust about. Agree that it would benefit from a bit of a gentle massage. It isn't my favourite from here. I put it up to show how little things have changed in 5 years.

No problems at all Hans. It is good to see a comparison of the same place 5 years on. It is a beautiful part of Australia, so many photo opportunities.
