  • The Dumaresq River at Texas

    G'day all

The Dumaresq (pron Dumarek) river for some of its journey is the border between the states of Queensland and New South Wales, eastern Aus. It passes the town of Texas, named about 160yrs ago by some Aussies who had visited Texas USA and felt that this area had the looks of the area they had visited.

Still blue! Lovely mood image. Don't think I have seen the river that full before. You about to head for warmer climes?

Looks to be a big water flow Phil. Then again, everything is big in Texas! It's very blue!
