Harvesting is in full swing (2) ~

G'day all

Noticed this farmer cropping his paddock as the sun was setting yesterday - and long after I put the camera away for the night, I could see headlights traversing the paddock as they continued their task. They must have known something ,,, as it started to rain at 4am this morning! The farmer's paddock and the equipment shown were about 1-mile / 1,5km away from me.

This image is unusual for me in that I have racked out the lens with in-camera digital zoom, to the equivalent of 2400mm

There may still have been a bit of camera movement and some fringing. Educational more than exhibition material is my 2cents.

Nice shot with the backlighting and dust. I think there is some atmospheric distortion there - not unusual with long distance shots.
