Looking good there for the rural people.

      G'day Hans
Yep - some areas have had good rains and the crops (of varying types) are coming on nicely

Lovely work Phil. Colours and subject spot on. I've taken a few shots of very similar scenes, it's amazing how close they are. You said you used Pixtra to stitch your images. I don't mean to be disrespectful and I know you love old school methods and it's sometimes hard to give up on things you are familiar with, but that is ancient software last updated in 2012. You may be interested in a program (100% free) called Microsoft Image Editor. It stitches super fast and seamlessly and the user interface couldn't be more easy. Unfortunately Microsoft has only just stopped downloads and support for it but I have copies if you want to try it - Let me know or you can download from the link below. You'll be amazed at the options and how fast it works. Great selections for the method of stitching to select from and cropping as well. I'd love for you to give it a go. It will work on your system so please-please-please give it a try at least. I know will love it.

Thanks matey .............. Beyond the product "windows" I have nothing on my computer with the name Microsoft upon it ~ and never will do so

As an I.T. professional all those years ago, I became extremely disallusioned with the performance of- and hardware needs of Ms products. There was a stage when HDD manufacturer/s were putting out "immediate" press releases advising us techo's -not- to use certain MS software as it was bugged and would zap the FAT of certain hard disks

I stopped using MS Office when it destroyed a 70-page report I was writing ... all tables were returned to unformatted but tabbed lists of text and therefore unreadable. I have had Excel zap over 2000 entries in date arithmatic data fields leaving the entire spreadsheet unusable

So- thx the the invite, but NO F'n WAY will I have microsoft products on my system ........... and that's also why I am not wanting to "update" to W-10

Sorry you feel that way Phil, I was unaware that you're not a fan of Microsoft. A lot of things have changed since the bad old days and Microsoft and other operators have improved their software and operating systems to a very high standard, simply because they had to for survival. I have been operating a PC since DOS days and never had any dramas, other than har drive crashes, which I've never blamed on the operating system or it's manufacturer. Whenever I do some intense development of spreadsheets or writing software, developing websites - even photo editing, I ALWAYS save my work as I go. If it's really important I go over the top and set whatever program I'm using to AutoSave every 2 minutes. I also backup every day, sometimes twice. Anyway, to each his own and I respect your decision. The I.C.E. program is still fantastic, just sayin'
