That is beautiful Hans. I like the low-key treatment. The shadows give a feeling of mystery and fantasy, and focus attention on the tree surrounded by the rather dimly lit grass.

I'm with Alan on this one Hans. Love the deep colours and the rays add some great effect as well.I Shoot A Canon

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

G'day Hans
Another of your 'real beaut' backyard pics
As I am one who a) like a tad of contrast and b) likes a more rectangular format, I have fiddled with your pic
On my screen, the slight contrast boost also increases the saturation of the foreground and sky colours
Hope you like it
Phil
pp- curves > increase contrast, then crop as 16 x 9

I'm thinking it would look a tad better if the blown out sun could be corrected.I Shoot A Canon

I might see if I can fudge something in but I must admit I don't mind it.
I did use 24 and toned it down from there but could mask one of the others like 23 or 26.Better a full bottle in front of me
than a full frontal lobotomy.
