  • Dead Tree

    G'day all

Just a quiet shot on a quiet morning - this once proud tall tree is coming to an end, but still remains above others gathered around it

    As always, feedback welcome

You are correct Phil, it's definitely a dead tree. Lovely layered colours sets this one apart. Well spotted and well presented.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

I like the way the ridge-lines fade into the distance and the golden light.

Either for me Phil. Cropping makes it a totally different scene. #1 to me, gives it more of a sense of scale by including the tree to the right and also helps with the framing.

            Thanks Greg

It's often interesting to see how an image can completely alter the viewer's impressions after a bit of cropping takes place. The old story of a 'picture inside a picture'
