  • Led up the garden path

    G'day all

The shape of this small track wending its way through the mist made me ponder where it was taking me. Was it merely "leading me up the garden path?"

    exif- Panny FZ-2500; 1/60s x F3,6; ISO-400; lens at 50mm FFequiv
pp- slight boost to contrast, otherwise sooc JPG

    As always, feedback welcome

    Phil

Another attractive image Phil. I quite like the high-key effect. If you hadn’t said sooc, I would have guessed a pp effect.

      G'day Alan

I had a chat on a different photo forum some time back with a US fella who queried 'ooc' vs 'pp' .... and I stated that for me, "if I cannot get the image to 95-98% 'right' in the camera then I have failed as a photographer", with pp there to tidy the image up around the edges

I know full well that some 'togs like to swing the sliders all over the place and re-negotiate the image within the computer, but I'm not one of them. If I cannot do all the pp within 35-seconds (my funny time stamp), then the image / my camera work / is a failure

I like the foggy effect Phil. At my age I don't venture to anywhere that I cannot see. If I can't see what's around the corner, I stay put and let others investigate

It's either really good meds OR they must be really old photos.
Working...
