I do like the vista in this one Hans. Maybe just a bump up on the shadows. What was the TLC you gave it? Hard to give CC without the original next to it

Try a Hue/Sat adjustment layer and slide the Magentas up to about +60. Mask out anything that's not appropriate.
How do you save the file for posting?

Your settings seem OK so I don't know why you're losing colour. I've posted my settings below.
Just a thought, are you resizing BEFORE you use Save for Web?

I hope you don't mind but this is an edit I did to show those beautiful colours and brighten up the shadows. I've sent you the PSD file so you can see what I did.

HI Hans, What colour space do you work in. I'm wondering if you had 'embed colour profile' off and 'convert to sRGB' off when you did the export. Just assigning aRGB or ProPhoto RGB to the image lifts the colours. This would explain the duller images after they were saved.

            1. Opened the image in Photoshop
            2. Assigned ProPhoto RGB colour space
            3. Converted to sRGB, then saved.

Interesting input from you both. I am keen to explore the smart filters that Isac demonstrated. and I am about to look what settings are in my present setup. I had the North America general purpose 2 in color settings. but the convert to sRGB was not ticked in the save for the web export. I shall see what happens.

They are the general settings you should stick to Hans. Also make sure your Windows-10 Colour Profile shows the right prifile for your monitor. Right click on your desktop and select Display Settings. Under Display Colour, there is "Night light" and the next is "Colour profile". Make sure that profile is for your connected monitor. Using a generic monitor profile is not much chop in Photoshop. This is my colour profile to match my monitor.

Thanks Isac About the only real difference was the sRGB setting in the export to the web. It seems to have made quite a difference.

Lovely spot and great for togs. It has a great feel about it and has all the elements to fill a beautiful image. It looks a bit flat to me, perhaps caused by the weather. It just needs a lift to make it pop. I had a play and some might not like it but with a few adjustment layers I think it lifts it. I selected the Light Midtones (1) curves luminosity mask and added Vibrance, Hue/Sat and Shadows - (on a Smart Filter). If you want the PSD, just let me know.
