  • The garden seat

    G'day all

Another from my misty-morning collection - this one being a view into the residents' quiet location for relaxation alongside the building.

    exif- Panny FZ-200; 1/1000s x F4,0 with EV @ +1,0; ISO-400; lens at 120mm FFequiv

    As always, feedback welcome

It is a shame the shaft of light is not on the seat which would have made it appealing to go and sit on. The dark tree trunk does not look attractive in this scene. I think the image is a pleasantone but the composition needs a rethink.

Wonderful mood in the shot and the light beams are great, but the seat should be on the left with the light shining on it. I think the vertical line (down pipe?) on the building is distracting, and the eye is drawn to the lighter building or shrubs instead of the seat.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Cheers Alan, just a quiet day, not much on my plate.

I dunno how you do all the things you get up to
For myself and for the most part, I just like to show it as it is / was, but I do like the look of your interpretation

Sorry Phil, I was just trying an edit as suggested by Alan. I do like your original though.
