Oh wow! Such a beautiful scene. I love the wide angle perspective here and the soft, subtle lighting, especially the gentle side lighting on the foreground tree stump; very nice. Such a simple scene, but makes you want to be there

Thanks Sean. That country is fairly flat so geographical features are a bit scarce so interesting compositions are a bit of a challenge.

Mungallala - know it well from our time on Albany cattle station on one of our earlier visits "up there"

Your pic (as Sean also says) makes me want to return to the outback and enjoy those simple pleasures of waking to the birds / sheep / cattle whatever and not to traffic and emergency vehicle sirens.

Thanks Phil. The country all the way out from Brisbane is looking good at the moment. They've had enough rain to green the country and put some water in many of the dams.

I don't see too many sunrises from where I lay Alan. That would mean getting out of bed early - not this little black duck!! It's by choice but I do love a good sunset - I've heard they're the same thing but just occur from a different direction
