Been playing around to get the colour balance correct on this image (taken on Sony A7RIV with 16-35 f2.8 lens at 16mm). Originally was a heap warmer, but with selectively using the WB eye dropper, I think it appears a lot more to how it was on the morning. Any thoughts or comments welcomed.

It's good to play around with images Sean, especially with the power that editors have these days. The beauty of that is, you can make the images look how youwant them or as you've done here, more like you remember the colours in the scene. Don't be afraid to put the before and after pics in after editing and even let us know a bit about your workflow on how you got the results you were after. I like this image and the colours you've attained suit the scene.I Shoot A Canon

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Another fine shot Sean. I like the position of the trees, the line of waves leading in from the corner, the light on the beach, and the clouds. As Isac said it would be good to see the original version.

Looks great. Like the composition but I dont think the colour is spot on. When I go for white in the surf there is a huge shift. I would show but I'm giving up as I have some gout in my mouse wrist.

Gosh, beauty is so in the ey of the beholder, but to me there is now too much magenta in the sand. This is how the image started out, but I played around with the white balance eye dropper until I ended up with the result I posted. But really, I guess it comes down to what looks pleasing (and natural) to you. Often there is no right or wrong, just what pleases the viewer's eye. I do appreciate your input.

I presume that is because the wet sand is reflecting some sky. but it is the same when you are trying to select an entry for a competitionBetter a full bottle in front of me
