  • Trip through our backyard.

I was surprised I got through in low range 2 wheel drive as I forgot to lock the hubs. Duh!

That is the ridge just driven up, looking south east.

This one south west from the same location.

About to do the most challenging part of the trip as it is very steep down hill from here. Looking east

I love the light and shadow on the curves of the hill in the second shot. That's quite a backyard you have.

Thanks Alan. I thought late afternoon would give me some interesting light. I have not driven to the top yet but others have. We have friends that won't even come up the driveway which was put in with a bulldozer. A relative highway, in Australian terms.

Nice work again Hans. I'm enjoying your backyard immensely.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

The world is changing Hans and we all must change with it, but I know sometimes you are dealing with morons which makes the process a bit bewildering. The toilet door regulations were standardised in Australia in 1996 - saying the door must be easily lifted off to gain entry if someone needs help. I used ours once when my granddaughter locked the toilet door on her way out and nobody could get in. I just lifted the door from the bottom and it came off easily.

Makes it completely pointless to have a lock on the door. We do live in a nanny country. Too many regulations too many politicians.

I agree about the too many rules (and pollies) comment Hans. I don't mind the lock on the dunny door. If somebody barges in while I'm sitting and thinking, it could be a bit embarrassing for the bargee!
